BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE THERAPY (BHRT)
A Structured, Medically Supervised Program for Men & Women
At Velvet Couture MedSpa, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is offered through a structured medical program designed to evaluate, optimize, and manage hormone imbalances under licensed provider supervision.
Hormone therapy is a medical service that requires appropriate patient selection, laboratory testing, ongoing monitoring, and clinical oversight. For this reason, BHRT is not offered as a casual, short-term, or open-ended treatment.
All BHRT services are provided in accordance with established medical standards and under the guidance of our Medical Director, a board-certified breast surgical oncologist, with patient safety as the highest priority.
WHAT IS BHRT?
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) uses hormones that are structurally identical to those naturally produced by the human body. When medically appropriate, BHRT may support hormone balance and symptom management related to aging, perimenopause, menopause, and andropause.
Treatment decisions are based on:
Medical history
Reported symptoms
Physical assessment
Objective laboratory data
BHRT is individualized and medically guided. Results vary by patient, and no outcomes are guaranteed.
MEDICAL PHILOSOPHY & SCOPE OF CARE
BHRT at Velvet Couture MedSpa is practiced as a medical service, not a cosmetic or lifestyle add-on.
Our approach is:
• Evidence-based
• Lab-driven
• Individually tailored
• Closely monitored
• Conservative with safety as the priority
We do not offer pellet hormone therapy at this time.
Accepted hormone delivery methods may include:

Additional labs as clinically indicated
Laboratory testing is completed through Quest Diagnostics or an approved laboratory partner.
Failure to complete required labs may result in delay or discontinuation of treatment.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL EXCLUSIONS
For patient safety and in strict alignment with our Medical Director’s standards, BHRT is NOT offered to individuals with:
A personal history of any cancer
Known BRCA1 or BRCA2 genetic mutation
Hormone-sensitive malignancies (past or present)
